Substance Abuse Program:

Understanding Substance Abuse

At CMU, we help participants understand the short- and long-term effects of drug and alcohol abuse, giving them the knowledge they need to make healthier choices and build a stronger future.

Smart Choices

Understanding the risk factors and triggers that lead to substance abuse helps youth recognize challenges early and make healthier choices.

Positive Choices

Developing healthy coping strategies and effective decision-making skills to empower youth, promote resilience, and support positive life choices.

Recovery Support

Comprehensive resources for treatment, counseling, and ongoing recovery support, providing youth with the guidance, tools, and encouragement they need to maintain long-term wellness and make positive life changes.

Each training is interactive and culturally responsive, providing real-world tools that help participants make informed, healthy choices. Whether participants are in early intervention, actively working toward recovery, or supporting a loved one, the program is designed to strengthen knowledge, promote personal responsibility, and foster positive life outcomes. By meeting individuals where they are and delivering education in accessible community locations, CMU empowers participants to break cycles of abuse, reduce recidivism, and build brighter, healthier futures.
